Day 85 – Antigua, GU

Day 85 – Antigua, GU     11/14/10     Mileage: 0

Nothing that interesting today…studying, chores and I spent a few hours cross posting the blog to an adventure motorcycle website called AdvRider.com which I’ve been meaning to do for some time now. I did meet two more fellow travelers that were great fun to talk to. Dominik is from Germany and Jeanette is from the Sacramento, CA area and we had many good laughs over a few beers. Tomorrow it’s back on the bike!!

It’s funny how you describe your day as “not that interesting” are you kidding! It’s nice you had some time to chill and enjoy what looks like an amazing little city.

Looking forward to more intersting stories as you hop back on the bike 🙂

Glad you see you back on the road. Hoping your cold goes away quickly and drink chicken soup.

We’ll be “traveling” with you and hope you get to have a Thanksgiving turkey next week. We have so much to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving to all following the blog.

Be well and be happy. Love ya, Mom and Dad

Hey Lisa! Yeah, it is a pretty great little town, but I’m so glad to be back on the bike…I had a great ride through the mountains today. How was your weekend and how are my nieces?!

Guess you found a place that you want to stay for a few days. I was glad to see that I could leave you a message on the Skype. I didn’t know that I could do that…….I am learning something new everyday.

We had horrid winds today but thank God we had no damage or problems. Raquel almost took flight when we went out to wait for Maya to get off the school bus.

Be well and be safe. Love ya, Mom

Hi Lenny, Looks like you got an early start this morning and you are heading to the water. Is this where the Island is to go diving???? Have a great weekend.

Going out for dinner tonight with Barbara and Dennis and with Lisa, Andrew, Maya and Raquel tomorrow night before we go to see a play. So….we have a nice weekend ahead. Love ya and be well. Mom

I just got to Flores which is near the Mayan ruins of Tikal. The island I was thinking of diving is Utila off the coast of Honduras…which is south of Guatemala. After Tikal I’m going to head over to Belize…

      Enjoy the weekend!
